هدفت الدراسة التعرف على واقع الاتجار بالمخدرات عبر الإنترنت، ومعرفة الطرق والأساليب التي تستخدم في ترويج المخدرات عبر الإنترنت، والتَّعرف على العقوبات التي يفرضها النظام السعودي في مجال الجرائم الإلكترونية ونظام مكافحة المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية، ومعرفة أهم أنواع المخدرات التي يتم ترويجها عبر الإنترنت في المجتمع السعودي، حيث تعتبر قضية الاتجار بالمخدرات إحدى أبرز القضايا الأمنية التي تواجه المجتمع الدولي.. ولا يكاد يختلف اثنان على خطورتها والتداعيات التي يمكن أن تترتب على تفشيها على الأصعدة المختلفة الاقتصادية والأمنية والصحية، وربما يزيد من أهمية وخطورة هذه القضية أن ظاهرة تعاطي المخدرات تجارتها ظاهرة عالمية، بمعنى أن كافة دول العالم تعاني منها ولا توجد دولة واحدة بمنأى عنها، مما يعني أن مكافحتها بالضرورة تتطلب تعاونًا دوليًا لمواجهة الخطر الذي تُمَثِّلهُ هذه الظاهرة، التي أصبحت أخطر أشكال الجريمة المنظمة والعابرة للحدود، ولعل مما يستدعي سرعة التحرك الدولي للتعامل مع ظاهرة الاتجار في المخدرات ارتباطها بالأشكال الأخرى للجريمة المنظمة، بل واعتماد كل منها على الأخرى. ولعل مما ساعد على رواج ونشاط تجارة المخدرات بحسب تقرير مكتب الأمم المتحدة المشار إليه ذلك التطور الهائل في وسائل الاتصال وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، والذي زاد من قدرة عصابات إنتاج وتهريب المخدرات على تبادل المعلومات والخبرات، والتي ساعدتهم على تطوير أنشطتهم الإجرامية.
 
Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the reality of drug trafficking via the Internet, to know the methods and techniques used in promoting drugs via the Internet, to know the penalties imposed by the Saudi regime in the field of cybercrimes and the system for combating drugs and psychotropic substances, and to know the most important types of drugs that are promoted via the Internet in Saudi society, as the issue of drug trafficking is one of the most prominent security issues facing the international community.. and there is hardly two people who disagree on its seriousness and the repercussions that can result from its spread on various economic, security and health levels, and perhaps what increases the importance and seriousness of this issue is that the phenomenon of drug abuse and trade is a global phenomenon, meaning that all countries of the world suffer from it and no country is immune to it, which means that combating it necessarily requires international cooperation to confront the danger posed by this phenomenon, which has become the most dangerous form of organized and cross-border crime, and perhaps what calls for rapid international action to deal with the phenomenon of drug trafficking is its connection to other forms of organized crime, and even the dependence of each on the other. Perhaps what helped the spread and activity of drug trade, according to the aforementioned report of the United Nations Office, is the tremendous development in means of communication and information technology, which increased the ability of drug production and smuggling gangs to exchange information and expertise, which helped them develop their criminal activities.
