ملخص البحث:    يحاول البحث معرفة مدى التزام المتنبي بمسألة العرف اللغوي في جموع التكسير؛ حين تتعدد صيغة الجمع للمفرد الواحد، ويصرف العرف اللغوي أحد الجمعين لدلالة معينة، ويصرف الجمع الآخر لدلالة أخرى، وإلى أي مدى التزم المتنبي بهذا العرف في شعره، كما يبحث أيضا في مدى التزام المتنبي بتقسيم النحاة جموع التكسير إلى جموع قلة وجموع كثرة، وذلك بربط هذه الجموع بسياقاتها ودلالاتها المختلفة باختلاف سياقاتها. Abstract: This research paper endeavors to determine the extent to which Al-Mutanabbi adhered to the established linguistic conventions regarding internal broken plurals in cases when a singular noun has multiple plural forms which the linguistic conventions assign one of them to a specific semantic meaning and another to a different semantic meaning. It further examines the extent of Al-Mutanabbi's commitment to this linguistic norm in his poetry. It also investigates the degree to which Al-Mutanabbi conforms to the grammarians' classification of broken plurals into plurals of paucity and plurals of multitude. This analysis will be conducted through examining the usage of these plurals within their various respective contexts and according to their context-based semantic meanings.
