المستخلص : هدف البحث تطوير دور مديرات المدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها في تحقيق أبعاد القيادة التحويلية، وتم استخدم المنهج الوصفي، والاستبانة كأداة للبحث طبقت على عينة (292) فردًا، من مديرات ومعلمات المدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها؛ وتوصل إلى عدد من النتائج، وهي: جاءت استجابات عينة البحث حول دور مديرات المدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها في تحقيق  بعد التأثير المثالي القيادة التحويلية، وبعد جودة الحياة الوظيفية للقيادة التحويلية؛ وبعد الاستثارة الفكريّة للقيادة التحويلية بدرجة موافقة " كبيرة"؛ ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات عينة البحث حول دور مديرات المدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها في تحقيق أبعاد (التأثير المثالي، وجودة الحياة الوظيفية، الاستثارة الفكريّة) للقيادة التحويلية تعزي لمتغيرات (الوظيفية الحالية، وسنوات الخبرة) وتم التوصية بمجموعة من التوصيات لتطوير دور مديرات المدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها في تحقيق أبعاد القيادة التحويلية، ومنها: تدريب الكوادر البشرية على تطبيق القيادة التحويلية بالمدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها، وتوظيف التكنولوجيا ونظم المعلومات في عملية تطبيق أبعاد القيادة التحويلية بالمدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها، وعقد مديرة المدرسة دورات تدريبية مستمرة حول تطبيق أبعاد القيادة التحويلية بالمدارس الثانوية بمدينة أبها.  الكلمات المفتاحية: القيادة التحويلية، بعد التأثير المثالي، بعد جودة الحياة الوظيفية، وبعد الاستثارة الفكريّة. Abstract The research used the development of the role of female secondary school principals in the city of Abha in achieving the dimensions of transformational leadership. The research used the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire was applied to a sample of (292) individuals from female secondary school employees in the city of Abha. He reached a number of results, namely: The responses of the research sample were about the role of secondary school principals in the city of Abha in achieving the ideal influence dimension of transformational leadership, and the quality of work life dimension of transformational leadership; After the intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership, it came to a 'significant' degree; There are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the research sample on the role of secondary school principals in the city of Abha in achieving the dimensions (ideal influence, quality of work life, intellectual stimulation) of transformational leadership due to the variables (current job, and years of experience). A set of recommendations were recommended to develop the role Secondary school principals in the city of Abha in achieving the dimensions of transformational leadership, including training human cadres to apply transformational leadership in secondary schools in the city of Abha, and employing technology and information systems in the application process.
