ملخص تجتهد العديد من الجامعات حالياً على الربط بين القيادة المستدامة ونجاح عملية التحول الرقمي لتظل قادرة على المنافسة في السوق العالمي. وهناك اعتقاد بأنه إذا تمكنت الجامعات من تحقيق هذا الربط، يصبح من السهل على القادة الأكاديميين تنفيذ عملية التحول الرقمي بشكل فعال. تعد الدراسة الحالية من الدراسات القليلة التي حاولت الربط بين كليهما. هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحليل واقع ممارسات القيادة المستدامة في الجامعات المصرية في إطار التحول الرقمي السريع؛ وذلك من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ووضع مقترحات لتطوير تلك الممارسات في المستقبل استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، كشفت الدراسة على أن تلك الممارسات لم تكن فعالة بالدرجة الكافية. حيث أن هذه الممارسات جاءت بدرجة متوسطة في كافة الأبعاد الأربعة مما يشير إلى الحاجة لبذل مزيد من الجهود لتطوير تلك الممارسات. أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تبنـي قادة الجامعات لمبـادئ القيادة المستدامة وأساليبها فـي مراحـل مبكـرة مـن التحـول الرقمـي، والسـعي نحـو الوفـاء بمتطلبـات التحـول الرقمـي. الكلمات الرئيسية: القيادة المستدامة - التحول الرقمي -الجامعات المصرية- الواقع - التطوير. Abstract: Many universities are currently striving to link sustainable leadership with the success of the digital transformation process to remain competitive in the global market. There is a belief that if universities can achieve this connection, it will become easier for academic leaders to implement the digital transformation process effectively. The current study is one of the few studies that attempted to link both. The current study aimed to analyze the reality of sustainable leadership practices in Saudi universities within the framework of rapid digital transformation. From the point of view of faculty members, and to develop proposals to develop these practices in the future. The study used the descriptive approach. The study revealed that these practices were not effective enough. These practices were moderate in all four dimensions, which indicates the need to make more efforts to develop these practices. The study recommended the need for university leaders to adopt sustainable leadership principles and methods in the early stages of digital transformation, and strive to meet the requirements of digital transformation.
