هدف البحث الحالي إلى قياس فاعلية نموذج مكارثى الالكترونى في تدريس التاريخ لتنمية مهارات التفكير المتشعب  لطلاب المرحلةً الثانوية بدولة الكويت، وتكونت أدوات البحث من اختبار التفكير المتشعب، وقام الباحث باختيار عينة من بمدرسة ثانوية الشيخ يوسف العذبي الصباح، محافظة الجهراء، منطقة الجهراء التعليمية وعددهم(60) طالب مقسمة إلى مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية والآخري ضابطة، واستخدم الباحث المنهج التجريبي، وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار التفكير المتشعب لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، "وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (≤ 0.05) بين متوسطي درجات التطبيق القبلي والبعدي للمجموعة التجريبية في اختبار التفكير المتشعب لصالح التطبيق البعدي". الكلمات المفتاحية: نموذج مكارثي الإلكتروني- التفكير المتشعب. Abstract : The current research aimed to measure the effectiveness of the electronic McCarthy model in teaching history to develop divergent thinking skills for secondary school students in the State of Kuwait. The research tools consisted of a divergent thinking test. The researcher selected a sample from Sheikh Yousef Al-Adhbi Al-Sabah Secondary School, Jahra Governorate, Jahra Educational District, numbering (60) students divided into two groups, one experimental and the other control. The researcher used the experimental method. The research results reached the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the divergent thinking test in favor of the experimental group, "the presence of a statistically significant difference at a significance level (≤ 0.05) between the average scores of the pre- and post-application of the experimental group in the divergent thinking test in favor of the post-application."
