يهدف البحث الراهن إلى الوقوف على أهم مفهومات المجتمع الافتراضي، ثم التعرف على أبرز القضايا النظرية التي تثيرها نظرية الرصاصة السحرية، ونظرية الاستخدامات والاشباعات، وذلك فيما يتعلق بتأثير المجتمع الافتراضي.
والبحث الراهن يعد من البحوث النظرية البحته Theoritical Research ، والتي تعتمد بالأساس على الدراسة المكتبية دون إجراء دراسة ميدانية، ولهذه البحوث أهمية كبيرة جدا في تحقيق إضافة علمية ونظرية، وإثراء المكتبة العربية.
وقد توصل البحث إلى إبرز أهم تعريفات المجتمع الافتراضي، وكشف البحث عن أن بداية التنظير في مجال الإعلام اهتم بفهم العلاقة بين الجمهور ووسائل الإعلام. والبداية كانت مع نظرية" الرصاصة السحرية"، ثم ظهرت نظريات التأثير الانتقائي (الاختياري)، في شكل نظريات متفرقة، ومنها نظرية "الاستخدامات والاشباعات"، والتي تم الاعتماد عليها لفهم العلاقة الجديدة التي باتت تربط الجمهور بوسائل الإعلام، وبذلك فقد ظهرت نظرية "الاستخدامات والإشباعات" على انقاض نظرية "الرصاصة السحرية". The current research aims to identify the most important concepts of virtual society, then identify the most prominent theoretical issues raised by the magic bullet theory and the uses and gratifications theory, with regard to the impact of virtual society.
The current research is considered purely theoretical research, which relies mainly on library study without conducting a field study. This research is of great importance in achieving scientific and theoretical addition and enriching the Arab library.
The research reached the most important definitions of virtual society, and the research revealed that the beginning of theorizing in the field of media was concerned with understanding the relationship between the audience and the media. The beginning was with the “magic bullet" theory, then theories of selective (optional) influence appeared, in the form of various theories, in-cluding the “uses and gratifications" theory, which was relied upon to under-stand the new relationship that the public now has with the media, and thus the "uses" theory appeared. and gratifications" on the ruins of the "magic bul-let" theory.
