Abstract

Abstract:
The Nubian community, in the Gharb Suhail area in the city of Aswan, this community has a special culture, whether it is in the material aspect (such as clothing, food, drink, handicrafts, etc.) or the intangible, which is represented in many customs, traditions, heritage, folklore, and immortal rituals that are passed down from generation to generation, Which made the Nubian society a unique society with these special features. Especially in light of the connection of this culture with the surrounding environment, and the exploitation of natural resources to be a source of economic and tourism development in general.Recently, we find that the most important cultural characteristic of some Nubian societies is the culture of preserving various traditional industries, of which crocodile breeding inside Nubian homes can be considered among these industries, which clearly appeared years ago, following the construction of the High Dam in the sixties of the century. The twentieth century, as the West Suhail region is considered one of the most prominent regions that has a global reputation for raising crocodiles. It is located just steps away from the historic Aswan Reservoir, and has a direct view of the immortal Nile River. This village clearly contains the crocodile culture within its homes. The village of Gharb Suhail, with its diverse and numerous traditional industries, is truly considered an architectural masterpiece overlooking the Nile River next to the Aswan Reservoir. It still preserves its heritage and recites its songs to the rhythms of brown palms, where it receives its children during the holidays to hold their weddings in the manner of the ancestors. It is one of those countries of gold. The extended novel in which history and mythology intertwine, all of which are linked to the Nile River.
