The research deals with several techniques recently used to facilitate the treatment stage of stone architectural elements, in addition to developing the efficiency of restoration materials for archaeological buildings. Some of them interact with archaeological building materials faster, some increase the strength of their structural bonding, and some give the building a longer life span due to the material's harmony with archaeological building materials. Research studies are still ongoing to reach more in order to serve the trends of preserving archaeological buildings and facilitate the restorer's decision-making, whether in monitoring or treatment.     يتناول البحث عدة تقنيات متبعة مؤخراً لتسهيل مرحلة علاج العناصر المعمارية الحجرية بجانب تطوير كفاءة مواد الترميم الخاصة بالمبانى الأثرية فمنها ما يكون تفاعله مع مواد البناء الأثرية أسرع ومنها ما يزيد من قوة ترابطها إنشائيا ومنها ما يعطى المبنى عمر إفتراضى أطول لإنسجام المادة مع مواد البناء الأثرية ومازالت الدراسات البحثية مستمرة للوصول للمزيد لكى يخدم إتجاهات الحفاظ على المبانى الأثرية ويسهل على المرمم إتخاذ القرار سواء فى الرصد أو العلاج.
