ملخص البحث استهدفت الدراسة الحالية وصف مقومات الاستثمار في البحث العلمي بالجامعات عامة والجامعات المصرية بصفة خاصة في ضوء مقومات اقتصاد المعرفة، واقتضى هذا الأمر عرضًا لأهم الأطر الفكرية والعلمية لماهية مجتمع المعرفة، اقتصاد المعرفة، الاستثمار في الجامعات وفي البحث العلمي الجامعي، وعرض بعض التجارب العالمية للدول الرائدة والمحققة درجات عالية في المؤشرات العالمية والتي من الممكن محاكاتها في الجامعات المصرية والاستفادة من تجاربها الرائدة، للنهوض بالبحث العلمي بالجامعة والمجتمع. Research Summary: The current study aimed to describe the components of investment in scientific research in universities in general and Egyptian universities in particular considering the components of the knowledge economy. This required a presentation of the most important intellectual and scientific frameworks for the nature of the knowledge society, the knowledge economy, investment in universities and in university scientific research, and a presentation of some global experiences of leading countries that achieved high scores, Too It in Egyptian universities and benefit from their pioneering experiences, to advance scientific research in the university and society.
