ملخص البحث:
 هذا جمع وتوثيق ودراسة لشعر أَبي عبد الله بن أَبي الخصال، محمد بن مسعود الغافقي، أحد كتاب الأندلس وشعرائها، وهو من الأعلام المشهورين، ممن عاش في نهاية القرن الخامس وبداية القرن السادس للهجرة. والذي لم يعط حقه من البحث والدراسة قديماً وحديثاً، وقد أتت عوادي الزمن على أكثر شعره _ ديوان شعره _، إذ نجزم أن هذا ليس كل شعره. وعلى كلٍّ فقد رتَّبنا ما تبقى منها في هذا المجموع بحسب القوافي، وترقيم الأَبيات والنصوص الشعرية، وقدمنا للشعر المجموع بدراسة موجزة عن حياته، وأبرز السمات الفنية والموضوعية لشعره، ومن الله التوفيق والسداد. 
 
Abstract
    This is a collection, documentation and study of the poemsof Abu Abdullah bin Abi Al-Khasal, Muhammad bin Masoud Al-Ghafiqi, one of the writers of Andalusia and its poets, and he is one of the famous figures, who lived at the end of the fifth century and the beginning of the sixth century of migration (Al Hijra). The one who was not given his right in terms of research and study, ancient and modern, and its time has come for most of his poems – the Divan of his poems– as we asserted that this is not all of his poems. In any case, we have arranged the rest of them in this collection according to rhymes, the numbering of verses and poetic texts, and we have presented the collected poems with a brief study of his life, and the most prominent technical and objective features of his poems.
