Abstract

The study aimed to establish a theoretical framework for behavioral economics as a new science or branch of economics to clarify its nature, define it, and elucidate the differences between it and traditional classical economics, highlighting as well, the close relationship between behavioral economics and other sciences (psychology and sociology), focusing on the factors that stimulate consumption of high-tech products with environmental sustainability and avoiding poorly designed technology. The research was conducted according to the experimental method: the researchers used the experimental method with quasi-experimental procedures, relying on the experimental design of the single experimental group (pre-test and post-test). The researchers implemented two training programs and prepared scientific material for them.
