The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using a training program based on AI teaching competencies in EFL classroom and being instructed via project based learning to develop primary school EFL teachers' AI awareness and EFL productive skills. the study followed the quasi experimental design of one group and pre –post administration of the instruments of the study. The study group included (25) EFL primary school teachers. The material of the study were a training program based on AI teaching competencies in EFL classroom which was instructed by project based learning. The instruments were a pre post observation sheet of AI competencies, an AI awareness test and a productive skills test. Results of the study revealed the high effectiveness of the training program in developing primary school teachers' AI teaching competencies, AI awareness and productive skills. Thus, a well-structured training program that integrates AI competencies with PBL can significantly enhance teachers' AI awareness and productive skills.
