The research aimed to identify and estimate the most important factors influencing preferences for edible oil consumption in Beheira Governorate. The target in this study is consumers of edible oil. For this purpose, a questionnaire was used to collect data to test consumer preferences from a sample of 205 respondents, selected from rural and urban of Damanhour center, El-Beheira Governorate the year 2024. The Logit model was used to analyze the data of the study sample, the research was also based on factor analysis using the Principal Component Analysis method.
