ملخص البحث: تهدف هذ الدراسة إلى إبراز التقنيات الحجاجية في النص الشعري الجاهلي متمثلاً في شعر الحارث بن عباد بوصفه نموذجاً مختلفاً من شعر الحروب في العصر الجاهلي؛ من حيث أن أغلبه قيل في حرب البسوس، ويكاد يكون تصويرا لكثير من أيامها، وقد اعتمد الحارث فيه وجوها حجاجية تهدف إلى التأثير والإقناع؛ كان فيها مدافعا عن آرائه ومعتقداته بهدف إقناع الآخرين بها،  أو عارضا لموقفه المغاير من الحرب التي طالما حذر قومه من عواقبها، أو مستثيرا لعزيمة قومه ومُحثهم على القتال،  أو محاولا إرهاب الأعداء من خلال استعراض عدة الحرب وعتادها، أو مفتخرا بالانتصارات التي حققها قومه في وقائع وأيام هذه الحرب، وهذا ما دفعني إلى دراسته حجاجيا والكشف عن خباياه من هذه الناحية. Abstract: mission of this study is to highlight the argumentative techniques in the pre-Islamic poetic text, represented in the poetry of Al-Harith Ibn Abbad, as a different model of war poetry in the pre-Islamic era. That is most of it was said in the Al-Basus War, and it is almost depicted for many of its days, Al Harith in his poetry depended on argumentative aspect aimed at influence and persuasion. He was defending his opinions and beliefs to persuade others , or opposing his different situation about the war that caused his people to suffer from its consequences, urging them to fight, or trying to frighten the enemies by showing the war's equipment and force , or taking pride in the victories that his people achieved in the days of war. This war, and this is what prompted me to study Al Harith's poetry and it's argumentative aspects in this regard.
