تناول هذا البحث: خلافَ أهل العلم - رحمهم الله - في حكم الاغتسال ليوم الجمعة، بعد تحرير محل النِّزاع في المسألة، ثَمَّ بيان الأقوال فيها، وذكر أبرز الأدلة لكل قول، مع بيان أوجه الدلالة منها ومناقشتها، ثم بيان سبب الخلاف، والرَّاجح من الأقوال، وقد قسَّمت البحث إلى: مقدمة، وتمهيد، ومبحثين، وخاتمة، وفهارس، وعناوين المباحث كالآتي: أما المقدمة فتتضمن: سبب اختيار الموضوع، وبيان أهميته، والدراسات السابقة فيه، ومشكلة البحث، وخطته، والمنهج الذي سرت عليه في كتابته، والصعوبات التي واجهتها، وأما التمهيد فذكرت فيه: بعض الأحاديث الواردة في فضل غُسل الجمعة، والحكمة من مشروعيته في ذلك اليوم، وأما المبحثان فجعلتها على النحو التالي: المبحث الأول: تعريف غسل الجمعة والحكمة من مشروعيَّته، والمبحث الثاني: أقوال الفقهاء وأدلَّتهم في مسألة غسل الجمعة، وأما الخاتمة فتحتوي على: أبرز النتائج والتوصيات، ومن أهم النتائج ما يلي: أنّ الفقهاء اتفقوا على مشروعية غُسل الجمعة، وأنه ليس شرطاً في صحة الصلاة، ثم اختلفوا في وجوبه، وأوصي أن تفرد هذه المواضيع بدراسات علمية، تعود على الباحثين وطلبة العلم بالفائدة والنفع.   This research discusses the disagreement among scholars - may God have mercy on them – regarding the ruling of Friday Ghusl [bath], and reviewing the respective polemical points. Then, it illustrates the main opinions, with examples to each and supporting argument, and the aspects of their argumentation, the reasons behind disagreements and the preponderant opinions. The paper is divided into an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, and indexes. The introduction covers the reason for choosing the topic, its importance, previous studies, the research problem, the resderach plan, the methodology followed, and the difficulties encountered. The introduction includes an overview of some related hadiths on the virtue of Friday Ghusl, and the wisdom behind its enactment.  The next two sections, then, introduce definition of Friday Ghusl and related issues, while the second tackles respective jurisprudential opinions and supporting arguments. Finally, the conclusion summarizes key findings and recommendations. This includes illustration of juristic agreement on the legality of Friday Ghusl, that it is not a condition for the validity of prayer, and yet that jurisprudents differed in opinion regarding whether or not it is obligatory. The study also recommends dedicating research studies to similar topic to maximize the benefit for students and researchers aat large.
