Resurrecting the structure of extractive industries, and reviving the mining manufacturing industry in the economic cycle, usually requires preparing the economic and social environment, harmony with political issues, and paying attention to the sustainable environmental aspect. Therefore, Algeria faces enormous challenges in exploiting its mineral wealth, in light of the many opportunities it enjoys. However, the challenges that prevent this country from reaching an important level include the capital cost in addition to natural difficulties and the recent trends of fluctuating prices of mining resources in global markets. It seems that decision-makers, investors and various other actors in the mining and renewable energies sector have not yet reached a level that allows them to implement and activate this type of industry in the short and medium term, due to the lack of sufficient research on the opportunities and challenges of effective exploitation of mineral wealth in the country. Therefore, strategic planning processes for industrial and transformative utilization of the outputs of mining sites in Algeria require a comprehensive analysis to meet the increasing demand for mining materials, especially rare ones from mining sources.
In  this study, the main opportunities available to benefit from infectious wealth in reviving the extractive manufacturing industry are explored and analyzed, where two different methods are used, namely PESTLE analysis (political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental), which can be used in mining industry planning, business analyses, and SWOT analysis. (Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats). It has been used to integrate strategic analyzes and decision making. This study provides a comprehensive idea of the prospects and challenges of benefiting from mining wealth in Algeria.
