Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory illness that impacts the body's jointsand causes harmful joints, stiffness, and swelling in the body's joints. RA generally offense the joints of the body, actually a lot of joints at once. RA usually impacts joints in the hand, wrist, and knee. In a joint infected with RA, the padding of the joint is going to be inflamed, making the joint tissue harmed and damaged. harmed tissue can make long-lasting or chronic pain, loss of balance, and misshapenness in thejoints. This work is designed to determine the levels of anthropometric variables (age and BMI), immunological parameters (IL-27 and IL-35), and electrolytes (sodium, potassium, and calcium) parameters in the sera of rheumatoid arthritis female. The study contains 60 subjectssplit into two groups, whichare the controlhealthy group and the rheumatoid arthritis patients' group. There is a non-significant (p>0.05) difference in (age and BMI) between the control and the patients' group. A very high significant elevation (P<0.001) has been observed in the level of (IL-27, IL-35, and sodium), anda very high significant increase (P<0.001) in the calcium level of RA females has been observed also compared with the control. On the other way, there is no significant (p> 0.05) difference in the levels of potassium and Uric acid between the healthy control and the RA patients' group. The authors can conclude that is a related relationship between the inflammatory immunological parameters (IL-27 and IL-35) in the case of the infection by RA because their results show a big role of the immunity system of our body in fighting this disease. Their results show also that this disease affects the ratio of electrolytes (Ca and Na) in the body of patients.
