Belonging to the homeland is one of the most prominent topics that studies have paid great attention to in recent years, due to its importance in building the individual, and the consequent behaviors and practices that contribute to the reform and progress of society, and that the absence of national affiliation represents a threat to the security and stability of society, and social media have an important role in the development of National the first and fourth level at the faculties of Arts and agriculture, Alexandria University, and the research followed the descriptive method The data was collected using a questionnaire form to study the personal and social characteristics of the family, identify the habits and motives of using the study sample for social networks, measure the level of national affiliation in its dimensions, measure the degree of contribution of social media in promoting the values of national affiliation, measure the level of awareness of users of social media of university youth of the risks of these sites on national affiliation, and identify methods by which the values of national affiliation can be enhanced from their point of view, the program of statistical packages of Social Sciences SPSS V.29 to conduct statistical transactions.
One of the most important results was the existence of a direct moral correlation between age and after the protection of the homeland, at a moral level of 0.01, and the existence of a direct moral correlation between the contribution of social media to national affiliation and the level of national affiliation of the research sample at a moral level of 0.01, as well as the existence of a direct moral correlation between the degree of awareness of young people of the danger of social media and the level of their national affiliation at a moral level of 0.01. It was also found that there are differences in the level of national affiliation among the youth of the research sample according to the gender variable in favor of females, while there are no differences in the level of national affiliation according to the variables of college type and academic year. The study recommended the need to develop programs and organize lectures, seminars and meetings that highlight the past and current glories of the homeland, and then develop a sense of national belonging, and encourage students to create websites that develop national belonging, and the work of national groups through which to implement strategic plans that serve the homeland.
