Abstract

This paper explores the relationship between Instagram cyberbullying and passive aggression among Egyptian youth. Drawing on the Social Learning Theory, the study investigates the impact of cyberbullying on the mental and emotional well-being of individuals, particularly in relation to depression and suicide. The research utilizes a quantitative approach and collects data through an online survey distributed via Google Forms and various social media platforms. This research study aims to shed light on the impact of cyberbullying on the mental well-being of young individuals, particularly in the context of Egypt. As the paper examines the relationship between cyberbullying on Instagram and the passive aggression exhibited by Egyptian youth, the findings suggest a strong association between exposure to Instagram cyberbullying and increased passive-aggressive behavior. Additionally, the study reveals high levels of depression among respondents who have experienced cyberbullying. The paper concludes by discussing the implications of the study and providing recommendations for future research and strategies to raise awareness and prevent cyberbullying on Instagram.
