The research aimed to identify the differences between respondents from farmers who use and do not use a mobile phone with respect tosome of the following personal variables:(age,annual income per feddan, the presence of the Internet in the farmer's home, and the attitudes of the respondents towards the use of mobile phones in the cultivation and production of citrus fruits), and to determine The differences between the respondents' knowledge of the technical recommendations for the cultivation and production of citrus, and the identification of the most important obstacles facing agricultural respondents who use mobile phones from their point of view and their proposals to solve them.
This research was conducted in Qalyubia Governorate, and the villages were selected:Toukh, Moshtohor, and Qarqshandah in the center of Toukh, and the villages: Kafr Shukr,Al-Shaqr, and Kafr Tasfa in the center of Kafr Shukr.10852 holders in the six villages, and a regular random sample of 371 respondents was drawn 3.41% of the total number of respondents. Data was collected during the months of May and June 2022 through a personal interview using a questionnaire .
The most important results as follows:
The results showed significant differences at the level of 0.05 between respondents who are farmers who use and do not use a mobile phone with regard t:age, annual income per feddan and the presence of the Internet in the farmer's home.
the results indicated that there were differences between the knowledge of the respondents regarding the total knowledge of citrus cultivation production.
