هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على الآثار الاجتماعية السلبية المترتبة لجائحة كورونا على العاملين في المجال السياحي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (202) مفردة بحثية من العاملين بالمنشآت السياحية بمدينة أسوان، واستخدمت الدراسة استمارة استبيان ودليل مقابلة مقنن لجمع البيانات، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود مجموعة من الآثار الاجتماعية السلبية المترتبة على جائحة كورونا على العاملين في المجال السياحي، منها الشعور بالحذر في التعامل مع الآخرين، والشعور بأنه مهدد في حياته الشخصية بفقد الأمان والاستقرار، والشعور بالقلق من المستقبل، والحوف من الإصابة بفيروس كورونا، والخوف من انتشار الفيروس.
