Collections management focuses on caring for collections and ensuring their long-term physical and visual integrity, as well as addressing issues related to their preservation, use, and documentation as a means to support the museum in fulfilling its mission and achieving its goals. The term group management is also used to describe the specific activities carried out through the management process, with the storage of museum collections at the top. The storage facilities are an integral part of the museum as they serve as its lungs, enabling it to adapt to the needs of researchers and visitors alike. Therefore, it should be noted that proper management of stored museum collections is closely linked to all other museum activities. As a result, foundations and principles should be established in storage and packaging methods in this place after studying it and identifying the various factors of deterioration in it. Therefore, it can be said, "a museum that does not acquire new collections is considered a museum on the path to extinction," but an acquisition policy without a storage policy may lead to the disappearance of collections. The research aims to identify methods of storing collections of various sizes and types, the materials used in storing collections, as well as to identify methods of packaging these collections to preserve them within museum storages.
