Tourism development of heritage sites is considered one of the most important tributaries of tourism, and as a result of the increasing demand for visiting heritage sites by the tourism sector, there has become a need for countries to work on developing their tourism product through the development of these sites, which has led to the emergence of many challenges and obstacles to the development process of these sites. Heritage tourism sites in Dahshur can witness significant progress and development if they are provided with appropriate human and material capabilities and appropriate subjective and objective conditions for their tourism development.
A field study was conducted on a sample of tourists visiting the Dahshur region, and questionnaires (150 questionnaires) were distributed. The study was supported by statistical analyzes to reach the research results and recommendations. The research aims to study the current situation of heritage tourism in Dahshur as a world heritage site. The research recommends taking advantage of diversity. The cultural heritage of Dahshur is aimed at achieving moral and material benefits for the people and residents, creating an incentive for them to preserve it, and tracking developments to ensure the sustainability of development of the Dahshur site and its buildings after implementing development plans and eliminating negative influences.
