Abstract

Fashion is considered an expression and symbol of the nation's personality and entity, and a manifestation of the unity of peoples. Based on this role that fashion plays in unifying, the idea of distinctive military uniforms for soldiers was created, which was intended for several purposes, including prevention (1) and identification (2). Egypt has known military uniforms since the Pharaonic era. It was a uniform distinct from the clothes of the people, and it consisted of a short linen shirt that covered the upper half, and an apron that covered the lower half almost to the knees, with its ends meeting in the front (3). This research will discuss military clothing, insignia, and the Egyptian flag.
