The study focused on the New Urban Communities in general, and on the New Small Communities in particular. It adopts a new developed thought and a policy that parallels the policy of the new large urban communities to become more appropriate and feasible, commensurate with the nature of the local community and its problems and local requirements, as an attempt to address those issues left over from previous policies in Egypt.
The study relies on the inductive approach in presenting the basic concepts of the new micro-urban communities, and the research used the deductive analysis method to analyze the content, impose hypotheses, and diagnose the current situation to reach a proposal for the new urban communities in the light of the indicators and lessons learned from the analysis process.
