Abstract

Airlines are exposed to intense competition and many external and internal economic pressures that lead to crises that affect their performance and competitive position. These crises that occur during work may also affect the company's employees, which prompted the company's management to resort to appropriate strategies to confront these crises, and to keep pace with modern global technological developments, the company has turned to modern technological methods, which is the electronic control system, to control crises, confront them and resolve them in a short time and without any human and material losses, in order to be able to maintain its performance and enhance its competitiveness locally and internationally. There is no doubt that EgyptAir may currently coexist in an environment characterized by the presence of many sudden and influential variables that may cause some crises that affect the achievement of the company's goals, and with the increasing trend towards electronic control practices and applications for the activities of this company and the use of electronic control as a tool to deal with improving performance and services, especially since it relies on modern technologies and software that provide a large degree of information and data, which is consistent with the nature and requirements of crisis management. From this perspective, the researcher was interested in examining the role and manner in which electronic control contributes to enhancing and developing the company's capabilities to manage crises, especially since the nature of its activities exposes it to crises at any time.
