ملخص البحث : يهدف هذا البحث الي دراسة لبعض دفنات الأطفال داخل اواني فخارية بمنطقة طهنا الجبل في العصر المتأخر، حيث تم الكشف عن دفنات الأطفال في المنطقة الجنوبية من موقع الحفائر علي مايبدو أنه كان مخصصاً في الغالب لدفن الرضع والأطفال الذين لا يتجاوز أعمارهم عن عام واحد بأستثناء بعض الأطفال التي تم معاملتهم معاملة خاصة وعادة يتم وضع الطفل داخل الإناء الفخاري بعد لفه داخل لفائف كتانية تختلف أعداد هذه الطبقات الكتانية، وتم العثور بجوار تلك الدفنات علي مجموعة بسيطة من اللقي الأثرية كنوع من أنواع المتاع الجنائزي. Abstract This research aims to study some of the child burials inside pottery vessels in the Tahna El-Gebel area during the Late Period. These burials were discovered in the southern area of the excavation site, which seems to have been mainly dedicated to the burial of infants and children under the age of one, except some children who were treated specially. The child is usually placed inside the pottery vessel after being wrapped in linen layers. The number of these linen layers varies. A simple set of archaeological finds were found next to these burials as a type of funerary goods.
