Abstract

Folklore forms a vital part of any society's cultural identity, capturing the customs, values, and traditions passed down over generations, which collectively shape the community's unique character. With the increasing impacts of globalization and technological advancements, however, certain elements of folk heritage face the risk of fading away. Studies indicate that integrating folk heritage elements into  exhibition interior design can enhance cultural identity, fostering a deeper audience connection to their heritage. Additionally, modern technologies, such as interactive techniques and augmented reality, add dynamic dimensions that allow for richer engagement with folk culture. This study explores methods for embedding folk heritage into specialized exhibition design to present culturally resonant content that reflects the depth of national identity. It also seeks to create innovative design strategies incorporating heritage elements into interactive spaces that engage audiences across varied ages and backgrounds, thereby Promoting the preservation of cultural heritage for generations to come. The research examines foundational aspects of folk art and their application in creating a specialized pavilion design, underscoring Egyptian identity within the exhibition's interior design. Further, the study illustrates how blending traditional methods with digital manufacturing techniques can strengthen Egyptian cultural identity while enhancing and increasing interaction with Egyptian folk heritage.
