The development of historical centers is a national requirement to attract tourists from all over the world, which enhances cultural and economic mobility. However, these centers face challenges like a lack of social diversity, increased pollution rates, and insufficient infrastructure. The aim of the research is to find solutions to these difficulties by improving the quality of life and enhancing societal interaction. Proposed solutions include improving pedestrian infrastructure, creating green spaces, and promoting local culture and tourism. The research also stresses the importance of preserving the surrounding buildings and protecting them from damage caused by neglect or development. These buildings are an essential part of the city's history and must be valued to build upon the construction of historical urban fabric. The study follows a comparative theoretical and analytical approach to global experiences, focusing on the city of Alexandria as a case study. The results show the need for effective community interaction and sustainability in urban planning to enhance the community's well-being and the city's overall vitality
