Abstract

Our research deals with the following topic, which is (the impact of the Egyptian and Tunisian revolutions on freedom of opinion and expression in the two countries), and freedom of opinion and expression is one of the topics that occupied great importance in the research arena because of its great importance at the present time, especially after the Arab Spring revolutions, Arab societies witnessed a set of revolutions Successive and successive examples, for example, we find the Egyptian revolution and the Tunisian revolution, as these revolutions greatly affected the freedom of expression of individuals in society, as the right to freedom of expression is recognized as a basic human right under Article No. 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights And it is recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Article 19 of the International Covenant states: “Everyone has the right to hold opinions without interference" and that “everyone has the right to freedom of expression, and this right includes his freedom to seek various avenues of information." And ideas, receiving and imparting them to others without regard for borders, whether in written or printed form, in the form of art, or by any other means of his choice.
