Abstract

This study sought to reveal the relationship of psychological capital to job involvement among Teachers Secondary Schools working in the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, as well as revealing the difference in the study variables among social workers working in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs according to the variables (gender - age - years of experience).  In the light of what was specified in the title and objectives of the study, the researcher found that the descriptive correlative approach is the appropriate approach to reveal the relationship between the variable of psychological capital and job involvement in the study sample.  The sample of the study consisted of (280) specialists (males-females), on whom the measures of psychological capital and job involvement were applied (prepared by the researcher).  The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation between the psychological capital variable (its four dimensions and the total degree) and job involvement (the dimensions and the total degree), differed with the difference of the two variables, gender towards males, and age towards those over 35 years old, while there was no difference in them according to years of experience.
