Abstract

The aim of the research is to reveal the effectiveness of the functional approach in developing morphological concepts and the trend towards the study of Arabic morphology. The research sample consisted of (60) students from the first secondary grade of Al-Azhari، and the experimental approach based on the semi-experimental design was used، and they were divided into two experimental groups، the number of which was (30). And the other is a control and its number reached (30) students، and in order to test the effect of the program، a test of morphological concepts was prepared، and a measure of students' attitude towards the study of Arabic morphology، and after applying the research tools before and after، it was found that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students of the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental in Testing the morphological concepts as a whole and in each concept separately on the one hand، and in the dimensions as a whole and in each dimension separately on the other hand، and it was found that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group in the pre and post applications in favor of the post application in the morphological concepts test As a whole and in each concept separately on the one hand، and in the dimensions as a whole and in each dimension separately on the other hand، it was also found that there are and are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the trend scale in favor of the experimental، and the research concluded that some Recommendations and suggestions.
