Abstract

Study Objective: reveal the correlation between psychological hardness and future anxiety.
Methodology: the descriptive correlative method.
Study Tool: the researcher used the questionnaire as a study tool.
Study Sample: The researcher used the questionnaire as a study too.
Study sample: The study sample was chosen randomly from the original study population, where the study sample from high school students in Taif city amounted to (204) students, which is a representative sample from the original study population.
Study results:
- To develop the creativity, thinking and problem-solving skills of gifted students with learning difficulties.
- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of secondary school students in Taif city in the dimensions of psychological hardness and the total score at the level of significance (0.00).
- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of secondary school students in the dimensions of future anxiety and the total score at the level of significance (0.00).
- There are no statistically significant differences in the dimensions of (optimism versus surrender - the existing outlook towards life) and the total score of secondary school students due to specialization.
- There are statistically significant differences in the dimension (the existing outlook towards life) among secondary school students in Taif due to the variable of specialization.
- There are no statistically significant differences in the dimensions of psychological hardness and the total score among secondary school students due to the parent's income level.
- There is no statistically significant relationship between the physical aspect of future anxiety and optimism and perseverance in psychological toughness among secondary school students.
- There is no statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of future anxiety and after perseverance and challenge in psychological toughness among secondary school students.
