Abstract

Test statistics for testing exponentiality against exponential better (worse) than used in convex average EBUCA is proposed in non-censored and censored cases by using goodness of fit approach. Selected critical values are tabulated. Powers of the test are estimated by simulation for some commonly used distributions in reliability. Pitman's asymptotic efficiencies of the test are calculated and compared with others test. Finally real examples are also presented for both cases to illustrate the theoretical results.
