The aim of the current research is to identify the applications of artificial intelligence that can be benefited from in developing the educational process and educational research. The research has adopted the descriptive analytical approach, by extrapolating and analyzing studies, research, books and periodicals that are related to its subject. To achieve the objectives of the research, an open questionnaire was designed. To find out the most important problems and challenges facing educational research and the role of artificial intelligence applications in facing these challenges, it was presented to a group of experts and specialists.
