Abstract

Agricultural waste in general is considered one of the important problems facing current era, as a result of the increasing activity of man in all areas of life, and the consequent waste of some important vital elements. According to the descriptive and statistical economic analysis and econometrics, it was found from the results of the research: that the annual growth rate in each of the total amount of animal waste at the level of the Republic and Kafr El-Sheikh governorate amounted to about0.57% and 0.17%, respectively. The significance of this increase was statistically proven at a significant level of 1% during the period (2000-2021). It was also found that the annual growth rate of the total production of cotton firewood, the area of maize, and the area of sugar beet , productivity per feddan, total production of sugar beet stalks, area of wheat, productivity per feddan, total production of wheat straw in the governorate amounted to about1.61%, 1.42%, 2.90%, 1.55%, 1.55%, 1.78%, 3.87%, and 2.1%), respectively. The significance of this increase was statistically proven at the level of significance of 1% during the previous period, and it was not proven significant Each of (area and total production of rice straw, productivity per feddan of sorghum firewood, total production of sorghum firewood) at the usual productivity levels during the previous period, and about the aspects of farmers' behavior in plant residues of previous crops at the level of the study sample during the agricultural season (2021/2022), (by burning, selling, non-traditional fodder, compost production, direct feeding to animals, soil burial, silage work). , sugar beet), which amounted to about (177, 183 680.35, 1178, 472.5, 488 694, 592) pounds / ton, respectively. The net return of recycling the manufactured hay load was about 121.11, 1346 pounds / load per ton. Arrangement, and the coefficient for converting a ton of agricultural waste into concentrated fodder was about 0.21 tons, as the amount of concentrated fodder from crop residues (maize, rice straw, sugar beet, cottonwood, wheat straw) was about (137.3, 96.3, 78.4, 81, 131) thousand tons of concentrated fodder, with an estimated value of (2.3, 1.7, 1.3, 1.2, 2.2) million pounds for the previous crops, respectively.
