Abstract

The research examines the analysis of expressive content in contemporary digital sculpture, focusing on the impact of technology on the development of fine arts through programs like Z-Brush and CAD, as well as techniques such as 3D printing and CNC machines. It aims to understand the cultural and historical context of digital sculptural works and analyze the expressive content and techniques used. The study emphasizes how digital technology affects sculpting methods and techniques, questioning whether digital tools enhance the precision and quality of artistic works or diminish the handmade touch. Spanning from the twentieth century to the present, the research encompasses Egypt and the world. The results highlight the importance of technology in advancing fine arts and expanding artistic expression, showcasing the role of digital sculpture in engaging audiences and enhancing their interaction with art. The research provides a deeper understanding of the transformations and developments in artistic practices, utilizing a descriptive approach to delineate digital sculpting programs and modern techniques and an analytical methodology encompassing a comprehensive analysis of digital sculpting from historical, expressive, and technical perspectives. This contributes to a better comprehension of contemporary artistic facets and underscores the artistic and historical significance of digital sculptural works.
