Aswan has a rich natural heritage along its geographical location, varies from the wild environment with its topography and geological features, and the river environment on both sides of the Nile. Both of which provide a variety of natural heritage resources, including the geological formations that show the bottom of the river completely exposed between the High Dam and the Aswan Dam, as well as the surface geological phenomena of elevations, hills, valleys, deserts and sand dunes.
