يهدف البحث الحالًي إلي تنمية الكفايات المهنية لمعلم المرحلة الثانوية في ضوء متطلبات العصر الرقمي، استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي للتعرف علي الكفايات المهنية لمعلم المرحلة الثانوية في ضوء متطلبات العصر الرقمي، وتوصلت الدراسة إلي ان معلمي المرحلة الثانوية في حاجة إلى التدريب على كافة الكفايات المهنية عن طريق الدورات التدريبية وورش العمل والمؤتمرات, واعتماد معظم مؤسسات التعليم الثانوي على أساليب التدريب التقليدية، بالإضافة إلى نقص الوعي الثقافي والاجتماعي بمتطلبات التعلم الرقمي, وأوصي البحث بضرورة إقامة دورات تدريبية في مجال الكفايات المهنة للمعلم بما يواكب التطورات العلمية في مجال التعليم، وتزويد المعلمين بكفايات التكنولوجيا الرقمية، ومهارات التعامل مع المشكلات الفنية، واطلاع المعلمين علي البحوث والتجارب المقدمة حول الكفايات المهنية ويتابع مستجداتها، والتزود بالكتب والمراجع المثرية لمعلوماته حولها.

Abstract:
The current research aims to develop the professional competencies of the secondary school teacher in the light of the requirements of the digital age by shedding light on the theoretical framework of professional competencies, and the intellectual framework of the digital age. Secondary school teachers need training on all professional competencies through training courses, workshops and conferences, and most secondary education institutions rely on traditional training methods, in addition to the lack of cultural and social awareness of the requirements of digital learning, The research recommended the necessity of holding training courses in the field of professional competencies for teachers in line with scientific developments in the field of education, providing teachers with digital technology competencies, skills in dealing with technical problems, informing teachers of research and experiences presented on professional competencies and following up on their developments, and providing books and references enriching information about them.
