هدف الباحث التعرف على فعالية برنامج قائم على مهارات تقرير المصير في تنمية الهوية الأكاديمية لدى (66) طالبا بجامعة جنوب الوادي تتراوح أعمارهم الزمنية ما بين (18-19) سنة, بمتوسط عمر زمني قدرة (18,12) سنة، وانحراف معياري قدرة (0,87)، واستخدم الباحث مقياس الهوية الأكاديمية (إعداد: الباحث)، وبرنامج قائم على مهارات تقرير المصير (إعداد: الباحث)، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية فى القياسين القبلى والبعدى على مقياس الهوية الأكاديمية لصالح القياس البعدى، كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية ودرجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة فى القياس البعدى على مقياس الهوية الأكاديمية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إفى أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية فى القياسين البعدى (بعد البرنامج مباشرة) والتتبعى (بعد شهرين من انتهاء البرنامج)على مقياس الهوية الأكاديمية لدى الطلاب.

The Effectiveness of program based on Self-Determination Skills in Developing Academic Identity of University Students 
 Abstract
     The researcher aimed at identifying the effectiveness of program based on self-determination skills in developing academic identity of (66) south valley university students. Their ages ranged from (18-19) years M (18.12) Std. (0.87).  Academic identity scale prepared by researcher and program based on self-determination skills (prepared by the researcher) were applied. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre and post tests of the experimental group students on academic identity in favor of the post test. There were also statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the control and experimental group students on academic identity in favor of the experimental group students. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group students on academic identity in the post test (directly after the program) and the follow up test (after two month of the program) .
