تهدف الدراسةُ إلى تسليطِ الضوءِ على أهمية الدراسة الإيتمولوجية في رواية كورش الأمير الأخير"כורש הנסיך האחרון" وهي رواية تاريخية تتناول حياة "كورش" منذ لحظة ولادته، وحتى توليه الحكم، والسماح للمسبيين من اليهود في بابل بالعودة إلى أورشليم.
والدراسة الإيتمولوجية تعنى دراسة المفهوم الحقيقي وأصل أسماء الأماكن الواردة في الرواية محل الدراسة، من خلال النطق الفعلي لهذه الأسماء، وفق ورودها في المصادر المختلفة، أي أننا معنيون بأصل وتطور هذه الكلمات باعتبارها كلمات لاتينية قبل قيام الكاتب العبري بتوظيفها في الرواية محل الدراسة.
Abstract
This study aims to shed some light on The etymological study importance in "Cyrus, the last prince". which is a historical novel that discusses the entire life of "Cyrus" from the cradle to the throne and allowing the captive Jews of Babylon to go back to Juresalem.
The etymological study refers to studying the genuine meaning, the places names' origins in the novel that is being scrutinized, all of that is being done through uttering and pronouncing those places' names according to the way they were mentionined in different resources.
This means it is down to us to fathom the origins and the development of those words, since they are originally considered Latin words before the Hebrew author utilized them in the under-examanition novel.
