The world has realized the necessity of promoting the sustainability approach in buildings in general and administrative buildings in particular, as they are a distinctive and important type of buildings, as administrative buildings deal with a large number of employees, administrators and task holders in the state, and Egypt has recently joined this procession with the Egyptian Green Building Council. The research sheds light on explaining the Egyptian Green Pyramid standards with a review of some international and local buildings that meet sustainability standards. The research problem lies in how the application of the Egyptian Green Pyramid standards affects the work environment in administrative buildings in Egypt. The research aims to create an ideal work environment to stimulate creativity and production and help enhance employee performance and comfort through the quality of the internal environment. The research relied on the inductive approach by studying the green pyramid, its concept and standards, and the analytical approach through an analytical study of some global models of sustainable administrative facilities that apply the global LEED standards and how to achieve them in the internal spaces of administrative buildings in Egypt through the Egyptian green pyramid for the purpose of achieving the comfort and efficiency of the building's workers, then the applied approach by applying the green pyramid standards to the Paragon administrative building in Egypt in the new administrative capital. The research concluded with a number of results that showed the existence of a positive role for applying the Egyptian green pyramid standards, including the quality of the internal environment, in improving the work environment for employees. The trend towards green construction in administrative buildings reduces operating costs and increases productivity, and reduces potential liability resulting from ventilation problems in closed spaces
