Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of theatrical performances in developing awareness of the dangers of the mobile phone (social risks - health risks) among middle school students. The study relied on the quasi-experimental approach, the one-group method, and the study sample consisted of (32) male and female second-year students. Preparatory School at Dr. Hamdi Al-Tahri Joint Preparatory School, administered by Minyat Al-Nasr Educational Department, Directorate of Education in Dakahlia. The study used (a theatrical program to develop awareness of the social and health risks of the mobile phone, and a measure of awareness of the risks of the mobile phone). The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: the presence of significant differences. Statistics between the average scores of the experimental group students in the pre- and post-applications of the theater program on the mobile phone dangers awareness scale (dimensions and total score) in favor of the post-application.
