Abstract

The research aims to know the effect of the percentage of hydrogen sulfide on the work environment in natural gas derivatives separation plants, where workers in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries are exposed to the dangers of hydrogen sulfide gas for periods commensurate with the nature of their work in quantities that reach danger points in some locations, and this is done with the knowledge or ignorance of the worker or employer. Hydrogen sulfide has risks of exposure to the gas linked to catastrophic individual and group accidents.
Given the difficulty of accessing sources and conducting the required experiments and analyses, the goal of the research is to find solutions to reduce the effect of hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) in the extracted gas, as its percentage has actually increased beyond the permissible limit to the point that it causes many diseases to workers in the gas processing plant, as well as increasing its percentage in the atmosphere during its combustion. In the atmosphere, it harms the surrounding environment
