يتناول هذا البحث دور المكتبات الأهلية والأندية الأدبية والرياضة في إذكاء الحراك الثقافي في الكويت، من خلال أربعة محاور، يتناول المحور الأول تأسيس المكتبة الأهلية ودورها في تعزيز الحوار الفكري في الكويت، والظروف التي أدت إلى إغلاقها، وما تبع ذلك من محاولات تأسيس مكتبات أخرى، ويعرض المحور الثاني لأثر الأندية الأدبية التي ظهرت في الكويت خلال فترة الدراسة مثل النادي الأدبي، نادي المعلمين ونادي الخريجين، أما المحور الثالث فيناول النشاط الثقافي للأندية الرياضية، ويعرض المحور الرابع للنشاط السياسي للجنة الأندية.
This research addresses the role of private libraries, literary clubs, and sports in stimulating the cultural movement in Kuwait, through four axes. The first axis deals with the establishment of the private library and its role in promoting intellectual dialogue in Kuwait, and the circumstances that led to its closure, and the subsequent attempts to establish other libraries. The second axis presents the impact of the literary clubs that appeared in Kuwait during the study period, such as the Literary Club, the Teachers Club, and the Graduates Club. The third axis deals with the cultural activity of sports clubs, and the fourth axis presents the political activity of the Club Committee.
