في هذا البحث تحدث الباحث عن الخرافات و معناها ومن أين بدأت وأين انتهت، ومن ثم قد خصص الباحث التعريف بأحد رواة الخرافات وهو أيسوبوس، وأنها تشكل جنسًا أدبيًا يعد من أقدم الأجناس وأكثرها شيوعًا في تاريخ الآداب العالمية، وتناول الباحث في السرد عن نشأته وحياته وتعليمه والمناصب التي تقلدها ووفاته، وكذلك ما ورد عنه في كتابات بعض رموز الحضارة اليونانية القديمة مثل سقراط، و أريستوفانيس.
