الملخص:
لقد تضمن المشروع الاصلاحي للإمام محمد عبده جوانب فكرية وتربوية وسياسية، لكن كل هذه الإصلاحات ترتكز على إصلاح الفكر، لأن بناء عقيدة المسلم يمكنه من تأسيس رؤية توحيدية للعالم، وبناء أمة قادرة على الفعل التاريخي، فلقد شاهد محمد الامام أن المسلمين بلغوا حالة من التخلف والتردي والضعف تدعو إلى الأسى والحزن وأن المحاولات الإصلاحية التي سبقته لإصلاح حال المسلمين لم يكتب لها النجاح الكامل وأن الإصلاح السياسي لا يمكنه وحدة القيام بعبء النهوض.
Abstract
The reform project of Imam Muhammad Abdo included intellectual, educational and political aspects, but all of these reforms are based on reforming thought, because building a Muslim's belief enables him to establish a unifying vision of the world, and to build a nation capable of historical action. Muhammad al-Imam witnessed that Muslims have reached a state of backwardness and deterioration. Weakness calls for grief and sadness, and that the reformist attempts that preceded it to reform the situation of Muslims did not achieve complete success, and that political reform cannot alone carry the burden of advancement.
