هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن معدل استخدام الشباب لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، والتعرف على دوافع استخدام الشباب لها، وكذلك إبراز التداعيات الإيجابية والسلبية لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بين الشباب، بالإضافة إلى وضع رؤية مقترحة للحد من التداعيات السلبية لاستخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بين الشباب، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، كما اعتمدت على الاستبيان بوصفه أداة لجمع البيانات، وتم تطبيقها على عينة قوامها (200) طالب وطالبة من طلاب الفرقة الرابعة من كليتي الآداب والعلوم بجامعة المنصورة،
The study aimed to reveal the rate of youth use of social networking, identify the motives for youth use of it, as well as highlight the positive and negative repercussions of social networking among young people, in addition to developing a proposed vision to reduce the negative repercussions of using social networking among young people. The study used the descriptive analytical method, and relied on the questionnaire as a tool for data collection, and it was applied to a sample of (200) male and female students of the fourth year of the Faculties of Arts and Science at Mansoura University
