Abstract

This research aims to most important goals about building the Rifai mosque to be a tomb for the family of Muhammad Ali was Mrs. Khushyar Hanim, wife of Ibrahim Pasha The first who thought, building The mosque was not completed in the life of Khushyar Hanim, until it was completed by Khadive Abbas Hilmi II and opened in 1912, twenty-seven years after the death of Khushyar Hanim.
The Research shedding light of reason for naming the mosque was due to the angle that Al-Walda Pasha had annexed to the land on which the mosque built and that Sheikh Ali Abi Shabak Al-Rifai.
The research of result that the Al-Rifai Mosque has an influence that has its own unique nature among the remains of ancient Cairo and a life full of historical events in Egypt's modern history. The Alawite family, on the other hand, is a marvel of architecture and one of Egypt's.
