فحص البحث الحالي تأثير التدريس باستعمال الصفوف المعكوسة في تحسين مهارات كتابة المقال الوصفي لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من ثلاثين طالبًا وطالبة من طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي (من ثانوية قمبش، محافظة بني سويف، مصر). تلقت مجموعة البحث تسع جلسات تدريسية باستخدام الصفوف المعكوسة. أشارت النتائج إلى فاعلية التدريس باستخدام  الصفوف المعكوسة في تنمية مهارات كتابة المقال الوصفي لطلاب المدارس الثانوية بشكل عام، وبشكل خاص، جاء ترتيب المهارات من حيث الأكثر تحسنًا إلى الأقل على التوالي كما يلي: تنظيم الفقرة، وكتابة المقدمة والموضوع، ثم كتابة الخاتمة، واستخدام اللغة الخطابية. ومن ناحية أخرى كان لاستعمال الصفوف المقلوبة تأثير ضئيل في مهارات الإملاء والقواعد وعلامات الترقيم. وتمت مناقشة النتائج في ضوء ميزات الصف المعكوس. The current study investigated the impact of Flipped Classroom on improving Secondary School Student's descriptive Essay Writing Skills. 30 students (males and females) from the first year of Qombosh secondary school, Beni suef, Egypt were selected as a study group. The study group received 9 training sessions using Flipped Classroom. The results indicated the effectiveness of the flipped classroom in developing descriptive essay writing skills for Secondary School students in general, also that the most predictable skills to be improved are respectively: paragraph organizing, writing introduction and topic, conclusion writing and using rhetorical language. Whereas, there is little effect of using Flipped Classroom on spelling, grammar and punctuations skills. Results discussed in the light of Flipped Classroom Features.
